Model: Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.2

I pay the cloud storage subscription specifically so that, in the event of a camera theft, I can still have access to the recordings made up until the moment the device is disconnected. However, I have discovered that once the camera is no longer connected, I no longer have access to the recordings.

How can I ensure access to these recordings in the event of a camera theft? Otherwise, in the absence of this functionality, the system behaves the same as a camera with a built-in memory card, where all recordings are at risk of being lost in the event of theft.

Hi,
The camera's cloud video clips can be stored on our cloud server for up to 7/30 days based on the subscribed Tapo Care plan. After that, these video clips will be automatically deleted and cannot be restored.

If the camera is displayed as offline in the Tapo app (such as disconnecting Wi-Fi), please tap it, then tap View Cloud Videos to watch the cloud clips it has stored on our cloud server.
If the camera has disappeared in the Tapo app (has been reset), please go to the Me > Playback & Download > Select your camera model to see the saved cloud video clips.

Best Regards
