Hi,

 

I got one of these C120 to replace a failed C320WS, but stream 1 seems to have bugs. If I set agent dvr to the low res stream 2, it seems to work, but if I set to the stream 2 to get a reasonable quality, there are a huge number of FFMPEG error, like this

And, whilst preview looks fine, any recordings are unusable due to ghosting and artifacts where ever there is movement. A person walking will leave a long train of grey and images of themself behind them, as do all other moving objects most of the time.

 

I see from searching around this has been an issue before that has been fixed in firmware, but I appear to be on the latest release.

 

Any suggestion on how to make this work?

Hi,
For the reported phenomenon, please provide the following information for further analysis.


  1. When you select the highest resolution on the Tapo app > camera's live view page, can you stream the camera properly in the Tapo app?

 

  2. Double-confirm: Are there a huge number of FFMPEG errors when you set the stream 1 or stream 2 on Agent DVR?

 

  3. Would you please send us a screenshot of the page on the Agent DVR showing the service URL, Live URL, and Record URL? You can upload the screenshot to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
 

  4. When you try to stream the camera on the VLC app in stream 1 or stream 2, can you view the camera's live feed properly?
      How to view Tapo camera on PC/NAS/NVR through RTSP/Onvif Protocol
