Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.9.1 Build 251209 rel.52024n

I just updated my c120 (1.9.1 Build 251209 rel.52024n)  and h500 (1.3.12 Build 20260128 rel.51424) just 1hr ago. And the quality is bad after setting to the highest 2kQHD . I'm doing mirroring for the 3 camera on my display. It was fine before the updates.

Hi, 
For the reported phenomenon, please confirm the following information.

 

  1. When you watch the camera's live feed in the Tapo app, is the quality fine?
  2. If not, please record a video manually on the camera's live view page, then download it to your phone, and check its resolution.
  3. How many devices stream the camera's live feed, through the Tapo app or other ways(such as RTSP/ONVIF, Screen Mirror feature)?
  4. Do you have three Tapo C120, and all of them have the same video quality?

1) Quality is fine set to (highest resolution) in the tapo app live feed.

 

2) download live feed and view back. Quality still looks fine (highest resolution) settings.

 

3) im using mirror screen with the h500. Total is 4 devices. 3x c120 and 1x doorbell D235. (Doorbell quality not affected)

 

4) yes i set all the 3x c120 to the highest quality.

Hi,
1. Please check how many devices are streaming the camera's live feed simultaneously, for example, the phones, PCs, or TVs.


2. Please send us the screenshot of the Tapo C120's live view page in the Tapo app and a picture of the same camera's live feed displayed on your TV.
You can upload the pictures to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
