My Tapo app tells me that the C500 camera is offline. Since I'm away from home right now, I'm wondering if it's possible to reset the camera via the app rather than in person

Hi,
It's unable to reset or reboot the camera via the Tapo app if the camera is offline in the app.
In your situation, you can try rebooting your router remotely, then check whether the camera comes back online.
