3rd part app fail to connect to 3X C120 cameras and c500 camers
Hi there,
It seems that third-party support has stopped with the latest firmware updates. All of my cameras were working correctly with Home Assistant and other apps, but after upgrading my three C120 cameras, they stopped working. My C500 camera also auto-updated and has stopped working too.
Are there any fixes for this?
Kind regards,

@Swoosh86 Same issue, after upgrading to 1.9.x, my C120 no longer works with third party integration like Home Assistant.

Hi,
For the reported case, please go to the Tapo app > Me > Third-Party Services > Third-Party Compatibility page to enable Third-Party Compatibility, then check whether your camera works with Home Assistant. Please note that Home Assistant is an open-source platform and is not officially supported by our camera; we can't guarantee the camera will integrate seamlessly with Home Assistant. You may also contact Home Assistant's support team to see whether they have any other suggestions.
If you want to establish an RTSP/ONVIF connection to the camera C120/C500 in Home Assistant, please follow the instructions below.

Hi,
Since Home Assistant is an open-source platform and is not officially supported by our camera, if enabling Third-Party Compatibility in the Tapo app does not help, we suggest contacting Home Assistant's support team to see whether they have any other suggestions.
