how long does it take to get the email?

i was told to sign up to this by a TP-link rep at a trade show as he said it fix my issue with old and new devices.

Some thoughts:

  • Some of the widgets waste too much screen space, for example the camera widget
  • The shortcut widget requires me to create shortucts first, but I can't find any option on the app to create shortcuts. When I tap the empty shortcut widget, I'm taken to a screen that says: "Select a shortcut. You don't have any shortcuts. Create a shortcut to use this widget. Done". But there is no way to add/create shortcuts.
  • It would be nice to have a dark theme to save power on OLED displays (black, not a dark gray background)

Thanks!

I just got my first Tapo cameras today, but this beta is really interesting to me because of my Kasa smart plugs and a few other Kasa products I'd been meaning to get set up. Being able to continue to use them, with a more seamless integration with my new smart devices is just *chef's kiss* perfect.

Hi, the beta is looking good. I was wondering if it would be possible to put the Call buttons off to one side where they don't block the view, make them smaller and remove the text captions ("Mic is On", "Tap to Call" and "Speaker is On")? You can see the problem in this screen capture: I can't see my cat, and the text captions only make matters worse. I think the text captions are basically redundant because the button icons are easy to understand unless you've never used a smartphone.

Applied.
