C210 Firmware updates
I have 2 new C210 indoor cameras, one of them is running 1.4.0 firmware and the other is on 1.3.11 and both show as Hardware Version 2.0
I checked the Download page for the C210 but it show no information about firmware for the Hardware Version 2.0?
On my 1.3.11 version when I check for firmware update it says it is already on the latest.
Is this another slow firmware rollout that will eventually be fully released?

@Solla-topee Do you think coincidences are real? I do but this one was too convenient. You say coincidence, I say convenient (as in you flipped a switch). Either way, both of my cameras are up to date and we'll see what happens when I plug in the third one.

Hi,
Because the manual firmware upgrade requires you to provide the camera's MAC address, I think it is a coincidence that your camera received the new firmware immediately after your reply on the thread.

@Solla-topee What "manual firmwre upgrade"? There is no option for that in my app and I did not sideload anything.

@JustCallBen
Hi,
It means that we pushed the firmware to your camera manually one by one through the cloud server after you sent us the camera's MAC address, and then you can update it via the Tapo app(Tapo app > Me > Firmware Update).
Since you did not provide us with the camera's MAC address, we did not manually push the new firmware to your camera. Your camera detected the new firmware after you posted on the thread because the new firmware just so happened released to your camera.
Note: If you have enabled the Auto Update feature on your device, it will update the firmware automatically after receiving the new firmware.

@Solla-topee Just to be clear, for all to have the same information, I did not provide my MAC address to you or anyone else. You matched my login to my app and pushed the firmware. I did no further requests for specific upgrades or any other customer service interactions. So, to me, it is a "miracle", a prayer to the nethers, if you will, that got answered.
Thank you for the firmware but we could do without the vailed doublespeak. Just say it clear: I made noise and you provided the oil. It seems you could do this for anyone else in this thread.
