When you receive a notification on your smartphone that a movement was detected, and you click on it, you can watch the video clip. However, if you leave that page (play), the detection warning in the app itself is not switched off. So you are seeing a warning (the red dot) even though you have already viewed the video. It should automatically disappear.

Generally, when the camera detects a motion, you will receive a notification on your phone and the Tapo app (Home tab > Bell icon > your camera page).
Do you mean the detection notification on your phone does not disappear after clicking it, or the notification on the Tapo app does not disappear after tapping the notification on your phone?
