Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.11

When connecting to my desktop PC with an ethernet cable directly from the Deco, my pc does not establish an internet connection.

However, if I connect the same cable to a USB-C hub with an ethernet slot to my computer, it connects no problem.

I have not found a solution to this anywhere. Is there any?

My motherboard, which I am connecting to, is a ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming.

The network adapter is listed as:

Intel® I211-AT, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s)
Anti-surge LANGuard
ROG GameFirst Technology

- I have tried to update the bios.

- Connecting to a switch did not work (an old Cisco switch).

- I have turned everything off and on again.

- I know that the ethernet contact on the motherboard works.

Is this a know issue, and is there a solution?

@Wigir

Boot your computer in safe mode to see if any third-party software may be getting in the way.

You either want to wire your computer to something else or wire something else into the Deco to narrow down where it is coming from.

@Tony Embarrassingly enough, it turned out that my Ethernet port was fried, from one day to another while moving to a new apartment. Bought a network card and everything is working well.

@Wigir

Thank you for the update.

Someone else may come across the same instance so this could be something they should test or think about too.
