Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a brand new Archer AX11000 router. Hooked it up and all is well. My son and I were on Steam last evening, 2 separate gaming computers, and my bandwidth is heavily compromised when online. We are both ethernet cabled in and I go from 60 mbps to 11. Is this normal or do I need to do something different?  I have not done the link aggregation and in fact, I put the ethernet cables OFF the router and back to the network hubs I have.

My old system would handle it all just fine, but it seems that this is a significant drop. Do I have a setting that is "off" or needing to be activated?  I have asked locally and noone seems to know.

Be sure you are using the power adapter that came with the router. Update the firmware to the current level. Be sure you are using good quality CAT 5e or 6 Ethernet cables. Bypass the router and check your speed from your ISP.

@tnkrizzo

Try testing the game accelerator to see if that balances out performance (Game Center > Game Accelerator).
