UB400 adapter won't connect to any device
I just bought the UB400 bluetooth adapter off Amazon (actually came in a pack of two). Plugged in to my Windows 10 desktop and the adapter is instantly recognized. The problem is that I can't connect to any of my devices (phones or tablets). I can actually pair the adapter to either phone or tablet, but it "fails to connect" so I'm unable to use it.
Looking in Windows, everything seems to be set up just fine. It shows in device manager, and in control panel Devices and Printers. My other devices see it, and it sees my other devices. It just won't connect. Any thoughts on how to solve this?

@Richj44 Hello,
Thank you for the detailed post.
1. Make sure you have Disabled the built-in Bluetooth before using UB400/UB4A if your computer has the built-in Bluetooth.(Open Device Manager and right click on the built-in Bluetooth adapter of your PC and then click Disable device)
2. Refer to Step 3. Pair with your Bluetooth device in the FAQ below and see if it could pair with your devices :

If there is any Error message, can you help provide a photo?
If the above does not work, what are the model and OS of your phone or tablet?
Please help us check the driver version of adapter and computer motherboard info and share a photo , thank you: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/

Thank you for the assistance. After installing the 2018 driver, I am able to connect and play music from my phone to my desktop. I hadn't tried installing the older driver because I assumed (my bad) the current Win 10 driver was better.
