I'm trying to upgrade my mother to Linux from Windows 10 before the next major release. I've got everything installed and working except for the WiFi. After fiddling with the Netgear she already owned I grew frustrated and purchased the Archer T9UH since it lists Linux Deb and Ubuntu as supported options. I've tried following the instructions for the manual given from the website as well as one for installing from github and non have worked. I'm a bit of a GNU+Linux n00b myself and a very simple (pretend I'm 5 years old) would be greatly appreciated.
ASRock B450M Pro4
Ryzen 3 3200G
2*4 (8GB) Ram
1TB HDD (256GB SSD when shes satisfied with the experience)
Archer T9UH (v2.8)
Currently while I'm attempting to configure this device the device is plugged in via Ethernet so internet is available as needed for workarounds.
