Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.13

Hi,

Today I purchased  a 3-pack of AX5400 Deco X60. Due to two heating punps with poor wifi-modules I need to create a separate 2.4 Ghz WIFI for the pumps while all other equipment use the 5 GHz WIFI.The pumps don't work on a network with both speeds enabled. Or can some clients be forced to connect with 2.4 Ghz.

Can this be done or do I have to return the Deco to the reseller and try to find some other product?

On the Deco that you will be dedicating to the pumps, just disable the 5Ghz.

I don't want to dedicate several Decos for the pumps, they are located in different houses and will probably not connect to the same Deco.
I want all the other devices that can use the 5 GHz band on the same Decos.

Hi, I think you could have a look at Deco X50/Deco X55.

With its latest firmware, It has a dedicated IoT network and also supports manually choosing the wireless band, like 2.4ghz for heating pumps.

Deco X50/X55 1.2.0-VPN/Static Route/MTU Customization supported

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
