BE800 10gig LAN Slow Upload

(2) BE800 hardware v1.6 routers
1 of them in satellite mesh mode
Wiring:
Primary BE800 10gig WAN for incoming 2.5gig ISP
10gig LAN connected to Satellite BE800 10gig LAN CAT7 cable
(3) 2.5gig ports connected to wired devices on primary BE800
Satellite BE800 has (2) 2.5gig LAN devices
10gig to primary BE800
Issue:
10gig LAN ports only allowing 200-300Mbps upload for both wired and wireless devices connected to the Satellite BE800. Speeds are normal when connected to primary BE800. Easymesh shows 10000Mbps.
Work around:
If I take the CAT7 cable from the 10gig port on the Primary and patch it into the 2.5gig port of the Satellite, speeds return to normal for wired and wireless devices.
Downgraded both to 1.1.6, factory reset both devices, configured and tested with Satellite connected to 10gig, speed slow. Connected to 2.5gig fast upload speeds.
Upgraded to 1.2.1, same result
Upgraded to 1.2.3, same result
Upgraded to 1.2.4, same result
No matter what firmware I try they all are slow upload over 10gig to 10gig LAN. I tried swapping 10gig ports on both devices as well. Completely unusable 10gig.
Anyone else have this issue?

@jwagman1 Sorry, I just use 1 10G port to connect to my cable modem, don't have the other one connected to anything. I would try a live chat to support and let them try some things.

Hi @jwagman1,
I'm stepping in to discuss this concern regarding your BE800 speed issue and hope we can assist.
Could you please clarify what this exactly means? Does it mean connecting the 10gig LAN of the main BE800 to the 2.5gig LAN of the satellite?
Have you tried swapping the client devices that connect to the main and the satellite? I just want to ensure the speed issue is not caused by the client devices themselves when connecting to the BE800 satellite. If you connect one of the three wired devices from the main BE800 to the satellite, will it also experience a slow upload speed like the other devices?

@Kevin_Z Yes I have tried everything including only having the backbone and one device connected to the Satellite. Tried both 2.5 and 10g ports on both sides. No matter what device (wired or wireless) the speed is horrible on the Satellite but perfect on the primary. I've tried multiple cat6a and cat7 patch cords and direct patched primary to Satellite and ran several tests. Seems like my hardware is shot?

Thank you very much for getting back.
I want to ask again: do you mean if you connect the 10gig LAN of the main BE800 to the 2.5gig LAN of the satellite, will you get the desired speed?

Forum Nickname: jwagman1
Thread URL: https://community.tp-link.com/us/smart-home/threads/topic/829114
Model&Version: Archer BE800 v1.6
Network layout: 2.5gig ISP - (10gig WAN) BE800 (10gig LAN) - (10gig LAN) satellite BE800 via cat 7 cable - 2.5gig LAN connected to 2 LAN devices
Description: All devices (both wired and wireless) are only getting 200-300Mbps upload speed when connected to the satellite BE800. Speeds are normal when connected to the primary BE800. Easymesh shows 10000Mbps. If I take the CAT7 cable from the 10gig port on the Primary and patch it into the 2.5gig port of the Satellite, speeds return to normal for wired and wireless devices. I have already tried different firmware versions, such as 1.1.6, 1.2.1, 1.2.3, and 1.2.4, but I get the same result.

@Kevin_Z Yes that worked for a bit but now I have the same issue on every port.
