If you want to access the router remotely, follow the steps below to allow remote devices to manage the router.
1. Log in to the web-based management page with the password you set for the router.
2. Go to Advanced > System Tools> Administration page. Locate the Remote Management section.
3. Enable the Remote Management feature:
4. Set a Port number for HTTP or HTTPS connection. You can keep the default Port number or enter a number between 1024 and 65535.
5. Select the remote device that can manage the router:
6. Click Save to apply your settings.
If you encounter difficulties accessing the web interface of your router remotely, try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that Remote management is properly enabled and configured on your router.
2. Check if your router's WAN IP address is a public IP or not. If not, it means there is another NAT or router in front, and you will need to configure port forwarding on the front router.
3. Check if your router's firmware is up-to-date. If not, update it to the latest version.
4. Make sure that your ISP or firewall does not block the port used for remote management.
