Hi! I am having some issues with properly installing the drivers (1st and 3rd party across 2 different adapters. For this specific one mentioned it is rtl8852au) on my Ubuntu computer. I have followed all readmes and none seem to work, this may be because I am not experienced with Linux, but I would still like some input some the TP-link community. How do I install the driver? Now granted, my computer cannot install certain commands such as "make", but I do not understand why.

Could I confirm again the model of your adapter? Is it Archer TX30U Plus or Archer TX20U Plus?

Please note that both of their Supported operating systems include Windows 10, 11.

  @kerballias_iv You’ll need to install build-essential first — run sudo apt install build-essential dkms git. Then clone the rtl8852au repo from GitHub and run make and sudo make install. Missing ‘make’ just means the compiler tools aren’t installed yet.
