2.4GHz Wireless Network Mode on XE75Pro (V2) and X50-Outdoor (V1)?
2.4GHz Wireless Network Mode on XE75Pro (V2) and X50-Outdoor (V1)?
When will these Deco units have the option to select "High Capacity" or"Optimal Performance" for the 2.4GHz band?

Thanks for the feedback! I reached out to our Deco team to put this on their radar. I can't make any promises as to whether or when the feature will make its way to the Deco XE75 Pro V2 and X50-Outdoor V1. However, more features are being added to models throughout our Deco lineup over time. We generally recommend keeping your Deco up to date to receive the latest enhancements and features for your model(s).
Is there a specific use case in your environment where these modes would be particularly beneficial?

Hey @Ryan, I was reaching out to see if there was any beta firmware for both of these Deco units (US models by the way) that will allow me to change the channel width for the 2.4GHz band.
I did try a beta firmware a few months back that kind of worked, but not really. It would set the 2.4GHz band on my two Deco XE75Pro units to a 20MHz channel width, whereas the Deco X50-Outdoor remained set to 40MHz for the 2.4GHz band. In terms of channel selection, each unit was on a different channel (compared to the stable build where each unit is on the same channel). One thing I did note was two units (can't remember if it was a combination of one Deco XE75Pro and the Deco X50-Outdoor or both the Deco XE75Pro units) were on overlapping channels while one unit wasn't (again I can't recall which unit it was).
I'm currently all up to date in terms of firmware (Deco XE75Pro V2: 1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 47884 | Deco X50-Outdoor V1: 1.3.1 Build 20251030 Rel. 41614).
I did see that the Deco X50-Outdoor "supports custom channels and bandwidth (requires the main Deco unit to also support this)" with the latest firmware, but don't see that option available (I guess the XE75Pro V2 doesn't support it).
Anyways, I would like to confirm if there's any beta firmware that is available or in the works to address these settings/features. If there is, can you please send the beta firmware my way?

There is a new beta patch out for the XE75 pro that adds a lot of options but not sure it addresses your issue but you can read more about it here

@HelpFixDecoApp would it be worth downloading the beta for the Deco XE75Pro (V2) units and keeping the X50-Outdoor (V1) on the stable firmware?

For us yes because if you have any issues with it we will have more data to look over to find fixes. For you "maybe" the software cant be uninstalled without some work on your end so it's up to you.
I have had a few issues with is that they are in the process of fixing you can read about my issues here

@HelpFixDecoApp ended up downloading/installing the firmware. One thing I noticed right away (at least via the Web portal) is that I can see the CPU/Memory usage of the network. Going to check the Deco app to see if there's any new settings I could adjust.
