Early Access Firmware 1.3.0 for Deco BE63/BE65/BE11000 V2/2.6 Adds DoH/DoT, Speed Limit, Internet Backup & More!
Hey Everyone!
We are excited to announce a pre-release firmware update for Deco BE65 V2.0, Deco BE63 V2.6, and BE11000 V2.6. This pre-release firmware introduces several new and advanced features, including DoH & DoT, Speed Limit, Internet Backup, and more! We encourage community members with these models to install this firmware and share your feedback.

Firmware Modifications
New Features/Enhancements:
- Added Support for Designating a Fixed WAN Port.
- Added Hybrid Mesh Feature.
- Added Internet Backup Feature.
- Added DoH & DoT Feature.
- Added Speed Limit Feature for Client Devices.
- Optimized HomeShield Feature.
- Improved System Stability.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the behavior where the Online List doesn't show IP addresses of connected clients when Deco is in AP mode.
- Resolved the behavior where QoS Total Bandwidth doesn't take effect as expected under certain circumstances.
- Addressed the phenomenon where the Deco may restart automatically under certain circumstances.

- Please ensure your Deco app is fully up-to-date.
- This firmware cannot be downgraded directly to the previous 1.2.10/1.2.0 version.
- There will be an official firmware release in the future. If you are not comfortable using pre-release firmware, please wait for the official release or contact our support teams for assistance.

Having a ton of issues on this myself. Got this in May 2025.
Worked great until Dec 2025. Since the start of this year its just plain chaos with smart home devices, specifically those running on 2.4 GHZ.
Regular devices like computers, phone and streaming devices work fine.
Smart home devices just connect and drop off extremely randomly.
Will note that TPLink smart home devices (wall switches) never seem to drop off. But almost everything else does.
I have an array of devices (Nest, Govee, Meross etc) and they all randomly go in and out causing a lot of automations to fail at random times.
Extremely frustrating and I have tried every version of the firmware including beta versions with no solution.
At my wits end where im debating just junking this system but the only reason I am not is due to the having the resetup the entire wifi network up again.

@sandyjb83 I've noticed that a bunch of my IOT devices (DirecTV, Google Home. Nooie cameras) would drop off.
I solved my issues doing this...
Left the main network as is with 2.4/5/6 all active.This is where most devices connect.
For the troublemakers....
Set up a guest network with just 5 for devices like DirectTV & Google Home. Devices where speed actally matters.
On the IOT network, it is just 2.4 for doorbells, cameras, etc
And I disabled MLO
I don't think the router is the issue. It is my old, cheap devices.
Did this a year ago. Rock solid since.

Thanks for the info.
The Iot network has always been super buggy and I had disabled it.
What I had done was have a main network where all priority devices connect (this works great, no issues, running on MLO)
I created a second network (which is actually a guest network) and used this for Iot. I have tried to run this one both 2.4 and 5, and 2.4 only (6 is off). As I mentioned, this was also working great until Dec, zero issues. The devices in question are all 2.4 GHZ devices (smart plugs, smart lamps, garage door controller, smart lights, smart blinds and Nest smoke detectors). Note that smart switches which are TPlink branded have no issues here.

@sandyjb83 One thing about the Nest Protects is they need IPV6 enabled to stay connected. My 6 have stayed online over a year after switching it on.

@Ryan is this in production?
my router was set to auto update and I got this version instead of a prod build. It hasn't been working for me at all and I'm trying to downgrade. My internet is basically non-existent with this version of firmware.
I hope it is because I don't remember signing up for beta testing when I enabled auto updates. I just emailed support but I'm basically dead in the water right now.
