When is Wire guard coming to Deco BE 23 model? I had to bring in a Brume 3 router to have wire guard support to my home. This took away parental controls with switching to access point mode from router mode.
my network now is ISP -> Brume 3 router with adguard(Surfshark) -> deco BE 23 mesh, 3 access points

I wish there is Wireguard support for Deco and enjoy the mesh system in Router mode. In the mean time, can I purchase a single Deco device that works with my existing Deco BE 23 and use this new deco node that supports wire guard vpn and use as main node and setup vpn directly on the deco network?

@Ryan

Any updates on this?

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

  @KjDevCrate

Welcome to the community, and thanks for the feedback!

I don't have specific details on when this feature may be added to the BE25, but I'll gladly share your request with the relevant team for evaluation and consideration.

As for your question about replacing the main Deco with one that supports WireGuard in the meantime―that could work too, since VPN Server/Client features (such as WireGuard) are supported across the network as long as the Main Deco supports the feature.
