ER605 and Deco X75Pro
Has anyone here succusefully set up an er605 with Deco X75pro. I am having trouble with MS teams and zoom call quality and got the suggestion to use the ER605 for the router and the decos as access points. I could get the er605 set up but never succufuley configure the decos. If anyone knows of step by step guide or a consultant I could contact to get this going I would be grateful.

I can help you with the technical setup. Here's how to configure your Deco units to work as access points with your ER605:
Step-by-step guide to switch Deco to Access Point Mode:
1. Connect the main Deco unit to your ER605 router via Ethernet cable (use a LAN port on the ER605).
2. Ensure your phone is connected to the Deco Wi-Fi network (this is important • you won't be able to change the operation mode otherwise).
3. Open the Deco app and navigate to MORE > Advanced > Operation Mode.
4. Switch to Access Point mode.
5. If you plan to connect all Deco units to your ER605 via Ethernet to utilize Ethernet Backhaul, setting them to Access Point Mode is essential • otherwise Ethernet Backhaul won't function properly and may cause network issues.
Important notes:
• Make sure your Deco Wi-Fi network name is different from any other Wi-Fi network name you might have
• After switching to Access Point mode, some gateway features (QoS, Parental Controls, DHCP Server, IPTV, VLAN, and DDNS) will no longer be available in the Deco app, as the ER605 will handle these functions
Regarding call quality issues:
Once you have the Decos set up as access points, if you still experience issues with Teams or Zoom, ensure that:
• Your devices are connected to the nearest Deco unit with strong signal
• They're using the 5GHz band instead of 2.4GHz for better performance
• Any satellite Deco units show at least 2 bars of signal strength in the app
