Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

I am setting up a VPN between 2 homes and everything is working except for one thing.  Home1 is using a Unifi system and Home2 is using the Deco XE75.  I generated a VPN client file on the Unifi system and loaded it into the XE75.  Everything worked fine except all traffic is being routed through the VPN.  I have modified the config file which should only route local LAN data through the VPN but the internet traffic is being routed through too.  I am sure the config file is fine because I loaded an OpenVPN  app on my android phone and loaded the same OpenVPN client file into it for testing.  All the internet accesses are routed through my cellular carrier and local access are routed through the VPN.  Are there any known issues with the XE75 sending all data through the VPN?  Has anyone seen this issue and found a solution?  I have the latest release of the firmware so that should not be an issue.

Thanks,

There is a brand new beta version of firmware for your XE75 it's recommenced that you try the new firmware to see if it addresses your issues. You can find more info on the beta from the link below.

@jcp77 I tried the beta version for the XE75 and I am reverting back to a released version.  The beta version didn't work out well and here is what I found.  If anyone else had a different experience let me know.

The beta firmware loaded without any issues and the mesh system came back up as normal.  I then enabled a client server VPN using my OpenVPN config file.  It made no difference in the internet traffic going through the VPN, so it worked the same as the released version.  I then noticed that Wireguard was included in the new release so I added a client server using Wireguard.  The internet traffic still went through the VPN and I could access my remote home for about 3 minutes.  Then my wifi went completely down and would not come back up.  I had to reboot the router and then go back in to disable VPN or it would keep working for a few minutes and then die.  Not sure whats going on but I had an extra XE75 and changed it to the main router.  The wireguard config file should be good because it works fine with a wireguard app on my android phone.   I am now going to flash the beta version back to a released version.  Was really hoping the Wireguard would work because I find it much simplier.  Guess I will wait for a released version before trying again.
