Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.1.5 build 20220429

switched to TP-Link from ORBI and the total chaos that was. i am looking to change the names of my connected devices. i was able to do that before with orbi. some of the connected devices are showing up as different looking devices. or some no labels for devices. is this possible ?

Hey @toughguy5,

You should have no trouble being able to change the name of client devices from within the Deco App. As long as the device is connected to the router, you can assign a new name to a device from the network devices tab.

Hey @toughguy5,

You should have no trouble being able to change the name of client devices from within the Deco App. As long as the device is connected to the router, you can assign a new name to a device from the network devices tab.

Yes you can, however they are just basic, preloaded icons for things like phones, tablets, pc, entertainment (which is a speaker), and a couple others if I remember correctly.
