Model: Deco X5700
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have four Deco X5700 units connected via ethernet backhaul and everything works great. I can see 5G-1 on channel 48 and clients CAN connect to it On the Deco Web UI, I see 5G-2 is on channel 149. However, this 5G-2 band is NOT visible to clients. I looked everywhere in the app and there does not seem to be any option to make this dedicated backhaul band available to clients. Is that correct?

If so, the Deco X5700 seems pretty wasteful in an ethernet backhaul setup because that second 5G radio will never be used. It would almost be better to just switch to the much cheaper Deco X60 when using ethernet backhaul?

Will making the X5700 5G-2 band available to clients ever released in future firmware? For example, I know the Deco XE75 allows its 6GHz band to be available to clients when using ethernet backhaul.

@popak I agree that this feature should be added.  It makes zero sense to not have this available.
