Is your Range Extender wired and in AP mode? If so, you should consider looking at the AP isolation settings of your network router. With AP isolation enabled its possible that your devices will not be able to see or print to the printer without also be connected to the Range Extenders wireless network.
I would also recommend making sure that you have installed the app or driver that is needed for your printer. It is now often required that you use the printer manufacturer app for network printing.
