Hi There,

I love this TPLink. Everything works great! However, none of my nests will connect anymore. ALL my other devices instantly connected as soon as I turned it on and I'm using the EXACT same SSID and PWD as I had in my previous routers. I did recently enable security plus, and I had enabled IoT Isolation. I have since tried disableing isolation, but its still not connecting.

Online it talks about having IP V6 enabled but I dont know where to set that up in the Deco App. In any case, I'd appreicate any other ideas? The Nest Protects are the ONLY thing not working anymore. So really appreciate the help!

Amir

  @ThorinAL My nest protect would not let me switch to the new network, so I factory reset them and all five connected easily... FYI, I'm not a techie just a novice and that's how they work for me.

 Ok...so I did exactly as you said. I removed ALL Nests, reset and reinstalled them. And it worked!!!

really sucks though because I have like 12 of these in some pretty hard to reach places. So hopefully I never go through this again :)

  @ThorinAL

Hi, welcome to the community.

Would there be any error message when Nest Protect is unable to connect to Deco BE85?

Have you tried to enable the IOT network for 2.4GHz with security mode WPA2?

As for the IPV6, Does your internet service support IPV6?

If yes, you could enable the IPV6 under Deco APP>More>Internet Connection>IPV6.

Wait for your reply and best regards.

No, Nest Protect doesnt tell you anything besides 'Its not connecting/ :). Its not very helpful. Yes, I have enabled IoT 2.4. I copied my EXACT config that I had with my previous router. And as I mentioned, ALL my other older devices are connecting just find. But for some stupid reason, these are not. Anyone else ever run into this? Amir
