My red light that used to only be on when being viewed live, is now on any time motion is detected and device is recording. I do not have the subscription which I know can do this, but I am not subscribed.

As you can see in the Tapo C225 V2's UG, the camera has a solid red light when starting up, video recording, or live streaming.
Even if you have not subscribed to the Tapo Care service, if you have inserted an SD card into the camera for video storage, the camera will have a solid red light during video recording.

@Solla-topee thank you for the response. It has never done this until recently and I have always had SD cards in since purchase. I don't like that it's always on, that was my way of knowing it was being viewed. Time to find a new camera :)

It seems the Tapo C225 V2 currently works as it should, per the UG.
Regarding the feature request to display a solid red light only when the camera is being viewed, I'll log it and forward it to the relevant team for evaluation.
