It's great that you can enable and disable motion tracking through smart actions.  Unfortunately, the camera doesn't remember which specific activities you want tracked and instead just defaults to tracking all of them.  This is not ideal.

Use Case is simple.  Since we can't automate the home/away modes, I'm using smart actions and automation to turn tracking off during the day when I'm home, and on when I'm gone or asleep.  I want my camera to record when there is motion in the yard (we have lots of deer and other wildlife, as well as dogs) so I have motion detection, pet detection, and person detection enabled.  I do not want to have the camera track my dogs or the deer.  That's just... too much.  I only want it to track people.  And I only want it to track people when I have tracking enabled when I want it enabled since it's kind of creepy to have the camera follow me around the yard as I pick up dog droppings.
