Hello,

 

I have a smart switch connected to the uplights on my house with a schedule set (On at sunset, off at sunrise).   Was working perfectly for about 4 years.    Now, the lights have a mind of its own.   It will turn on/off at different times of the day.    When I look at the schedule there is nothing in both the Tapo and Kasa apps.   When trying to recreate the schedule the tapo app gives me a A"network unstable" error.

 

Any ideas on how to fix?

Hi,
In the Tapo app, please tap HS200 on the Home tab, then tap the Away mode page to check if it's started. If so, the HS200 may randomly turn the light on or off.

 

Regarding the "network unstable" phenomenon, please provide the following information for further analysis.
  1. What's the Tapo app version? What's your phone's OS and version info?
  2. Please try to connect your phone to a different Wi-Fi network or use mobile data only, then test whether the same phenomenon occurs when creating a new schedule.
  3. Try a different phone if you have one.
