X55 disconnects every few hours
I did the update and recently unplugged everything into new power straps, and since then it seems a little.laggy and the light turns red every 3 to 12 hours. It seems to stay on longer if there's less use. But in the evening where there's max use, we have to reboot every few hours.

Welcome to the community.
Do you still have the old power strip? If so unplugged your deco from the new strip and plug it back into the old strip and see if the problem goes away. The new strip might not be putting out the correct amount of power for your deco(s) unit(s)
If you still have the issue on the old strip let us know and we will go from there. Also please provide your deco firmware and hardware version numbers. See the links below on where to find this information.

1.3.1 build 2025 1122rel.36074 for firmware, for hardware, im not sure, here is what i see on the bottom of the unit, s/n:y258134a02219 made in Vietnam, US /1.32
I moved it to directly into the eall, it seem to help some, but 12 hours later it turned red again. It seems to happen with overusage. Like 2 tvs running then watching video on a couple of phones. That seems to trigger it.

If possible disconnect your deco(s) from your network and run an Ethernet cable from the back of your modem directly to the back of your computer. If you still lose internet every 12 hours then it's not the deco it's a problem with your ISP and you should contact them.
If you have internet for over 12 hours without rebooting then it's either the deco or a bad ethernet cable.
