I've recently bought a TC90 KIT from Worten on Portugal and I've had it for less than a month.

 

From time to time the Live View from the TAPO APP turns Pink (Image attached) and requires a camera restart to go back to normal, so it's likely a firmware issue.

 

Second issue it sometimes I go to Live View from the TAPO APP até night and it's full black, the camera didn't switch to Infrared and switching manually on the App doesn't work. It also required a full restart to fix.

 

This is becoming extremely annoying. The 2 C500 Cameras I have never had any issues.

 

Please send this to the firmware team.

Please check if the tips in the following instructions will help.
What to do if the Tapo Camera image color is abnormal?
 

If the same phenomenon persists, please provide the following information for further analysis.


  1. List the troubleshooting you did and the results. 
  2. Please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log, and after you have collected the log file after the report phenomenon occurs, please let me know.
      How to get the log of Tapo Camera 
  3. Please send us the camera's live view page that displays full black because the camera does not switch to night mode. When this black page appears, is the camera selected in Auto mode?

Thank you for the quick response.

 

I've had a look at that page before I posted.

 

1.- I usually restart the Camera via the TAPO App and it starts working with no issues, that's why I think it's not hardware, but firmware.

 

2.- I've turned on diagnostic mode, when the problem happens again I'll retrieve the log.

 

3.- Yes, when the camera is completely black (at night) it's in 2K Automatic Mode, even switching manually to "Night Mode" doesn't work, requires a full restart.

When it's happens again I'll take a screenshot and send it here. And also provide the log.
