@David-TP I see the private message. I did have notifications turned on but did not receive any. I just now tried several times to re-upload the log but each time the upload failed. It's only a 1 mb txt file. I dont know how else to do get it to you.

@David-TP while waiting for your response I tried something different that in my opinion, should not be needed. I added address reservations for each device on my network. I'll report back if that makes any difference. I did triple check that QOS is not turned on and it is not. I had a lot of disconnect problems a while back because I had turned it on. It's off right now.

Hi Alex, Thank you very much for the feedback.
I tested the Smart Home feature on Deco X68 Together with HS105, and I notices the schedules on Deco APP would not sync to Kasa APP, and vice versa.
Then I started making conflict schedules on Deco APP and Kasa APP, such as 12:00am on--Deco APP; 12:00am off--Kasa APP. Both schedules have been saved successfully on the individual APPs. But the HS105 was off at 12:00am. So it seemed like Kasa APP won the game.
During the test, the Deco device time is manually set to be the same as the HS105 device time, but not the same as my mobile phone as I don't want to mess up the time settings on my phone. So I doubt whether it is due to the different time settings.
I also reported to the senior engineers and hope they would check the operating logic for us. So far they haven't replied yet.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

Hello @David-TP ,
Can you update the new Deco App to push commercial ads (like the one for black friday) to a named notification channel (like ... ad !) on Android so that we can disable these kind of notifications without being forced to disable ALL notifications.
I don't care about black friday, or tplink sales globally speaking, but I want to know when a new firmware is available or a new product connects to the network.
That would be great ! Thank !

@GuiPoM Hi, These kinds of promotion notifications could be turned off individually in the Deco APP:

@David-TP Oh, great, I was not aware that there is a setting in the side menu. Thanks !
A nice addition, but not required, would be to define the same categories when declaring the android notifications so that the framework also defines these categories and we can configure the notification (sound, vibration, active or not ...) according to the category.

Hi,
I have found discrepancy between FAQ documentation and actual screen in Deco app 3 for Android.
FAQ document General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco
In Q2 Item 4, it says: " On the Deco app>Network Map page, you can see the Deco connects to the source Deco via Wi-Fi or Ethernet."
With the following screenshot:
In Deco app 3 for Android, with two my Satellite Deco (Office, Study) connected by Ethernet and another (Bedroom) by WiFi to Main Deco, there is nothing to tell how each is connected:

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. I did see the same issue on the iPhone about the WiFi signal. Then I run the same test on the Android, It seemed fine.
I have reported to the senior engineers and will update here with further progress.
By the way, will you get this result all the time when running Wi-Fi Diagnostics?
Alexandre. Hi, it was added to Deco APP 3.0 before to display the backhaul of each satellite Deco, but later for unknown reasons, the engineers decided the backhaul type would only show up when there are no more than two satellite Deco nodes. If there are more than 3 Deco nodes, the backhaul will be hidden again. So it is still recommended to check the Backhaul type under the Deco settings and the FAQ will be updated very soon. Thank you very much.
Hawklord, Hi, "force connect a specific client to a specific Deco" is a feature that depends on the software of Deco. When the firmware of your Deco has added this feature, you will see a signal source selection on the Deco APP as well.
And I happen to see your current Deco is Deco M9 plus and maybe you will be interested in the 1.6.0 beta firmware here:
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
