It would be good for the community to know what the devices are expected do receive the beta update.
On my case I have a deco x50 mesh kit that is basically a deco x55 but with the top on white, can you share if it is expected that the x50 will receive this beta firmware and the ETA to recieve it?

I would like to know about the X20 firmware update? the 2.4 GHz is broken.
I am aware of the guest network workaround, but this unit (under a month old for me) is not working as advertised.
Also will customising the satellite Deco signal source be included?
Thank You

Hi, it is planned to release the same firmware for Deco X20 as well. Can I have more details about what you meant by "the 2.4 GHz is broken"?
And so far, were you having any issues when the satellite Deco is not connecting to the nearest Deco, not to the main Deco?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Thanks for getting back David.
I was having problems connecting any 2.4GHz device, although I was able to connect my solar inverter (2.4 GHz only) using the Guest Network method.
Other items, such as printer, ring doorbell chime, and daughter TV didn't connect. ( Ring Chime is now bricked)
Also, some items would connect to the furtherest node instead of the closest and there wasn't a way to configue this.
I am reasonably technical minded and wasted a lot of time on what should have been a simple setup process.
I today returned the x20 and received a full refund.
My system was back up and running within minutes with the only slight problem being a weaker WiFi signal at the extremities of my house.
Being an electrician I have already run a cat6 cable to the problem areas, I should have done this instead of wasting my time on a product that seemed to me to stil be in beta test mode.
Regards,
Treb.

It should be coming real soon now, but that tune has been playing for years in some cases. TP-Link obviously prioritize fancy design, marketing and developing a bewildering number of new products rather than living up to the promises of the products they have already brought to market.
