This would also be helpful in 'Light Settings' order to be able to match the custom colours on two or more light strips, as presently they cannot be grouped, and picking from the 'colour wheel' is quite difficult.

This would be helpful everywhere where there is a color wheel. I am using the product for my fish room but I can't seem to get the right color for Moonlight.

Yup, literally just add a manual text box and pass the value the same way the color wheel does, this is a 10 minute dev job don't understand why this isn't there by default

I agree this is a must have addition. The hex code is already shown anyway, it is a no-brainer. This feature is most essential when you want "sensible" lighting colours, like trying to match Kelvin colour temperatures. For example using the L920-5 light strip there is no separate interface for white light like with other products. This is not a problem as long as you can precisely define a colour, which currently you can't. I end up resorting to the Google Home app to get this done, as it has more options, which is a shame as I can't access the extra features of the Tapo app from the Home app.

This would be so much more helpful than trying to use my finger to set the same custom colors on every new bulb.

This is definitely needed. I have two light strips in my office and it is essentially impossible to make them the exact same color unless I use a predefined preset.
