  @Marvin_S

Forgive my bad drawing skills - this should depict simplified network topology different color means different floor

If the network goes crazy, what I do, is I drop the red cables from AX23 satelites and it goes fine again using wifi mesh (maybe I powercycle as well - not certain).

One observation or my personal feeling is that once it happens it somehow mixes up which satelite is which and indefinetly redirects the requests back and forth (seen it in main router topo map that it had screwed naming of the mesh devices)

Hi, thanks for your further sharing~

After consulting senior support with the information you provided, we may need to collect the information below for further research.

1. When the problem happens, you can log into the Web UI of the main AX55, right? If so, can you go to Easymesh page to check whether the satellite routers(AX23) still remain Ethernet connection? You may share the screenshot of their status if possible.

2. May I confirm all your satellite routers(AX23) gets flashing red LED? For the satellite which flashes red LED, can you change another Ethernet cable for it to connect to the main router?

3. As your network topology involves 4 floors, for your wired Ethernet cables, are they  buil-in the walls/floors? Can you put the satellite routers close to the main AX55  and use short Ethernet cable to connect to main AX55 directly for further checking?

Thanks for your cooperation!

  @Kevin_Z hello :)

we are in November 2024 and I would like to know if is it possible to make the Ethernet backhaul with any router compatible to be mounted in the wall (like the Range extenders) I have Ethernet ports in all my rooms and one Ax72 pro as main and I want to share the same network to all the rooms extending via Ethernet but in some rooms I need to put the router on the wall not in a table

As suggested by xAirrick, RE315 V1 and RE900XD V1 both support EasyMesh via Ethernet Backhaul:

Meanwhile, I believe most of our Wi-Fi routers are allowed to be mounted on the wall. For example, Archer AX72 Pro, you can refer to its User Manual and you will find the mounting guide in Page 8:

Re:EasyMesh Routers Support Building a EasyMesh Network via Ethernet Backhaul NOW

Good morning
This is my first message, so if I break any rules, please excuse me.

I have a TP-link AX72 pro v.1 router with firmware version 1.3.1 Build 20240426 rel.40133(4555) and I wanted another router with WIFI 6 and LAN at 1Ghz to make a backhaul ethernet/easymesh network and be able to bring WIFI via cable to other rooms in my house (probably buy another one like it).
I have seen in this post that the AX72 pro v1 model is compatible with ethernet backhaul, but it talks about firmware version 1.2.2 Build 20230831. Is only that firmware version compatible or the one I have is also compatible?

Thank you very much.
