Moderator Note:
1. The availability of DoH and/or DoT may vary by region even for the same model. Please check your local website for more information.
2. The above list might not include all models and hardware versions. It is recommended to keep watching the firmware releases for your router, as all the newly supported features will be listed in the patch notes if/when it is added to your version.
3. DoH would not be available when the router works in Access Point mode. Visit this FAQ to know more about the difference between Access Point Mode and Router Mode.
Introduction and Configuration
DoH/DoT Introduction
DoH (DNS over HTTPS) and DoT (DNS over TLS) are two methods that enhance the security and privacy of DNS queries in network communications.
DoH encrypts DNS queries within HTTPS traffic, making them indistinguishable from regular web traffic and difficult to monitor.
DoT uses a dedicated TLS connection for DNS messages, ensuring they are secure from eavesdropping and tampering.
DoH/DoT Configuration
You can go to Advanced > Network > Internet page to enable DoH or DoT.
- For AX and BE series, refer to the screenshots below.
- For AC models, refer to this screenshot:
Note: There are 3 built-in DoH Servers: dns.quad9.net, dns.google, and cloudflare-dns.com, you can choose one at a time.
For more details about the DoH and/or DoT configuration, please refer to How to Configure DoH/DoT on a TP-Link Wireless Router.

Where do I go to complain about the lack of DNS over TLS or DNSSEC support in the deco mesh series like the BE65 Pro?
Is there a main thread or an email address I can send the request to?

@Riptide_NVN DoT/DoH is gradually implemented via firmware or hardware upgrade. Deco BE65 Pro may not receive this update yet.

Good Morning
Would you know if there are there any plans for the Archer AX6000 currently?
The reason I ask, is that this particular model had some issues relating to a very recent firmware upgrade.
A BETA firmware is now being used by a number of users (including myself) but a final official update is being worked on apparently.
My question is, if the firmware is already being worked on, could the support team look into enabling the DoH and DoT features at the same time sorry?
Many Thanks

Are you referring to the concern mentioned in this thread? Is your hardware Archer AX6000 V2?

I'm sorry that the development team hasn't mentioned that the new official firmware will include DoH or DoT.
