Please note that this feature is currently not supported on certain Tapo camera models. It’s suggested to refer to the software release of your specific model or the settings on your Tapo App for accurate information.

1. Is it possible to download the SD card videos from a remote network?
A: No. Connection to the local network is required to download SD card videos.
2. How many videos can be downloaded at the same time?
A: 5
3. Is there a time limit for downloading videos?
A: Yes. The length of clipped videos must be within 1 to 10 minutes.
4. Where will the downloaded videos be saved?
A: ① For Tapo App 2.x.x users: the downloaded contents (SD card videos, cloud videos, screenshots, manually recorded videos) will be saved in the APP ( APP ->Camera Playback & Download ->Download).
If you wish to export and save videos locally, please download them from the Download page. The videos will be saved to your phone's gallery.
Note: Reinstalling Tapo APP or clearing APP cache will cause all files downloaded to the APP to be deleted. To safeguard important content, kindly export videos for local backup beforehand.
②For Tapo App 3.x.x users: The downloaded content is saved in the app cache and can be automatically backed up to your device's photo album (with local storage permission).
5. What types of videos support "Cut & Download"?
A: SD card continuous recordings and detection videos. Cloud video is not supported.
