  @Kevin_Z

After rolling back the firmware in the router and reconnecting the network extender, everything works stably for many days. Thus, we can conclude that the beta firmware offered here has a problem that causes the C86 router to freeze when working in tandem with the RE220 network extender as an EasyMesh satellite. Please investigate the problem and fix it. Thanks in advance.

@NickolaZ Thank you very much for your thorough testing.

I've reported this feedback to our engineering team for further investigation. Please stay with the older 1.13.4 version as a workaround and wait for new firmware or updates.

  @Kevin_Z

Hi  @Marvin_S,

I must admit I was a bit nervous about a one way upgrade just in case it made matters worse.

I can however confirm that this has resolved the issues. I removed the SKY router installed the upgraded TP_Link Archer and didn't even need to initially configure anything like last time. I have checked that I can cast to spotify on the TV and also tried to setup a google home device and all worked without issue.

Fantastic news as this has nopw enabled me to remove the sky router from the setup as I originally intended.

Kind Regards

Danny

Hi there,

Just to help provide feedback that I've started experiencing similar or the same problem as NicolaZ I think.

In that my router the Archer C6 V4 having been upgraded to this beta has started freezing I assume.

It had been working fine with the beta for the last month or so, however last week it started playing up. As at least once a day now my entire internet will drop along with all and any local area network connections be they Wifi or Wired. All green lights continue to glow on the router, but I cannot access the router settings whatsoever as there is no response from the router. The only way to get the router working again, is to unplug it - then upon plugging it again it will be okay for another 12 - 24 hours until it freezes again.

If any other information is needed, please let me know as happy to help if I can.
