Firmware Modifications:

  • Added VPN Kill Switch under Deco APP>More>VPN>VPN Client

    • Once enabled, it will block your internet access until the connection to the VPN server is restored, which ensures your online activity and IP address remain hidden and helps to protect your digital data from accidental exposure.

  • Optimized OpenVPN performance.

  • Fixed the issue of clients not showing up in the client list

  • Enhanced system stability, especially in a mixed Deco Mesh Network.

  • Improved Network Security.

Update Notice:

  • Please make sure the Deco APP is up-to-date(The latest Deco App version is 3.9.109 for IOS and 3.9.92 for Android OS)
  • As Deco firmware updates are usually rolled out in waves, some users might already receive the new firmware notification on the Deco APP , while others might take longer.

Sorry for the late response, but this does seem to fix the problem of clients not showing up in the list in the Android Deco app. It's been running fine for a few hours now, will update later if there are any problems. Thanx for the fix with the 1.2.1 version.

  @David-TP do we have a version i can use for my region? My region is asia-pacific esp Philippines. The downloadable firmwares are only for EU.

  @David-TP I cant seem to login into the Deco Web UI. Trying both my IP (192.168.68.1) or the tplinkdeco.net both options give me a "Page not found" screen. Any help?

 

My main node is a Deco X10 (which im trying to manullay update to fix the no clients bug)

 

my two extra nodes are Deco E4R, which serve to extend my mesh network.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, can I have the current firmware version of the Deco X10?

You should be able to find the IP address of the satellite Deco E4 on the web UI. Can you access the web UI of the satellite E4 via the IP address?

 

Please also test with another web browser.

(192.168.68.1 is the default LAN IP of Deco. You can also confirm on the Deco APP if the main Deco X10 is still using this IP address.)

  @David-TP  my current firmware version is 1.2.0 Build 20250306 release. 40376

 

I am unable to access the web UI on any of the decos connected. I have tried on both Safari and Chrome on my macbook. As well as Chrome on my Samsung phone. none of which can connect to the web UI.

 

192.168.68.1 is still my LAN IP based on the deco app
