There is an issue with Tapo Care's detailed notifications. For the past two software versions, the photo taken when motion is detected does not match the time of detection. The photo shows 6 o'clock, but the actual motion occurred at 12 o'clock. On another camera with older software, this problem does not occur.

Hi,
A new firmware has been pushed to your Tapo C310 V2 for the reported phenomenon. You can update it via the Tapo app and check if it helps.

 

Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the
Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2)
How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.

Hi,
Please confirm the following information for the reported phenomenon.
  1. When you watch the camera's live feed or play the cloud video clips in the Tapo app, are the date & time correct?
  2. Please send me (@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message.

  @Solla-topee Yes, the date on the camera is correct. The still frame with the notification details is wrong, though. I recently received a notification that there was movement – and there actually was – but the image was from 5 hours earlier, so..."

  @Darek1988 And again, motion was detected at 1 PM, but the image I received was from 9:04 AM.
