I am facing a strange Wi-Fi issue. My router is on the 3rd floor, and I can use the internet from the ground floor without any problem. But when I move just 6 feet away from the router with 2 walls in between on the 3rd floor, my device shows Wi-Fi connected but there is no internet access. Near the router, everything works fine, but as soon as I move a short distance away, websites and apps stop loading even though it still shows connected.

@David-TP, these features should also be implemented on Deco X60 V4.20.

Separate 2.4 & 5Ghz network, Channel selection, DoH/DoT, etc

Hi, is there any specific reason that you used Deco M5 instead of Deco X50 working as the main Deco?

I think the 2.4GHz was on 40MHz when the speed throughput was 150 Mbps. Now the 2.4Ghz is on 20MHz.You could consider setting the Deco X50 as the main Deco so that you can manually change the channel/channel width.

Swapping the roles could help check if Deco X50_V1.3_1.3.1 could receive an IPV6 LAN address when it is the main Deco.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Deco M5 only for home Care. & Also for WiFi range. Still DECO M5 range much better than Deco X50.

Before update Deco X50 1.3*** everything working fine . That's why I want to downgrade firmware. So please if possible then I should use 1.2*** version firmware.

Hi, thanks for the update.

You can refer to this link to run a firmware recovery on the Deco X50_V1.3, then upload the 1.2.10 to the web interface:

How to use firmware recovery on Deco

Best regards.

@David-TP Is Deco X50 version 1.3.1 build20251122Rel36074 an official version?

Will this version add the option for client traffic statistics and an optimized real-time information display, including wireless encryption, bandwidth usage, and connection duration?

Please let me know.

@David-TP this version solves the problem I was facing on my Deco X50. I was getting continuous connectivity issues (i.e.: WiFi link dropping for 2-3 seconds when Internet call, in normal browsing etc) in the previous firmware version. I was considering to swap this device with other models.

Other added features (i.e.: Internet Backup, DoH & DoT, Wi-Fi channel selection etc.) are working good so far. Keep up the good work and please give firmware update regularly as I found that on my Deco X50 (Hardware Version 1.30), there is no alpha firmware update for almost 1 year.

@David-TP I hope that some new features will be added with the stable or official update, which will work great, such as traffic usage, range or Wi-Fi signal will be able to work over long distances, network enhancement will be more, etc.
