We’re excited to introduce a new firmware update for the Deco X50/X55_V1.30/V1.33, packed with powerful new features and enhancements designed to elevate your Deco Mesh Home Networking experience.

- Supported Channel Selection.
- Supported Internet Backup via Hotspot Backup and Hybrid-Mesh Backup Mode.
- Added DoH/DoT under Deco APP>More>Advanced.
- Supported 20MHz/40MHz automatic bandwidth selection to enhanced 2.4GHz WiFi performance.
- Supported WireGuard VPN Server/Client.
- Supported built-in easy configuration of NordVPN/Surfshark VPN.
***In compliance with local regulations, the Third-party VPN feature may be restricted to specific regions.
- Added client speed limit under clients' detailed setting page.
- Supported Fixing the WAN port under Deco APP>More>Advanced>WAN Port.
- Added Scene Priority under QOS.
- Added Client MAC Identification to improve the accuracy of device detection.

- This firmware can’t be degraded directly to the previous 1.2.10 version.

Hi,
I bought a Deco X50 (1-pack). The Traffic Usage for online clients feature is not available in my current firmware.
All these features are available in Firmware v1.6.7. It is truly disappointing that even after almost one year, no firmware update has been released for Hardware Version 1.30.
Please let me know when these features will be provided.
Also, the 2.4GHz signal does not cover long distance properly. Please look into this issue and improve it. I hope it will be fixed in the next
update.

@David-TP Hello!
I've been testing this firmware for a while now and noticed that even after manually unselecting "auto" and forcing channel 36, the Deco X50 automatically changes to channel 40 after a restart. Is anyone else having this issue too? Hopefully it gets fixed on the official release.
Adding more info:
The Deco X50 still reports as if it was on channel 36 still, but using any WiFi Analyzer tool you can clearly see that the channel changed to 40.
