Beta Software Firmware 1.1.99 for Deco BE25 Adds Channel Selection, DoH/DoT & Fixed WAN Port!

Hey everyone,
We’re pleased to invite members of our community to experience early access to beta firmware for the Deco BE25_V1.0
This firmware brings a multitude of significant enhancements, including Channel Selection, Fixed WAN port, Internet Backup, DoH&DoT, and more!
Firmware Features and Enhancements:
- Supported fixing a specific port as the WAN port.
- Advanced Parental Control subscription added APP block/App Time Limits feature
- Added Channel Selection feature.
- Added Hotspot Backup and Hybrid Mesh Backup features.
- Added DoH & DoT feature.
- Added Speed Limit feature for client devices.

Update Notice:
- Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
- Please make sure the Deco APP is up-to-date.
- The Beta firmware versions can be degraded directly to the official 1.1.7 via web UI.
- How to manually update the firmware via web UI.

Hi,
Usually, there is no problem turning off the 2.4GHz band on the main network, and the QoS will keep the settings after you change it. Please ensure your Deco app is up to date, and if it is, try factory resetting your Deco nodes, removing the Deco network from the Deco app, and then reconfiguring your Deco nodes to see if this helps.

@Solla-topee I will reset the deco's over the weekend and report back. I can confirm I'm using the latest version of the app on IOS using an iphone17 running IOS 26.5

@David-TP There's loads of bugs in this, disable reports but you still get them, it's always been like that.
Wifi 2.4 range is so weak on this beta firmware.

@Solla-topee resetting both Deco units and setting them up from scratch has allowed me to disable 2.4ghz on the main SSID.
