Once your camera is subscribed to the Tapo Care service, whenever it detects an event, the corresponding detection video clip is automatically recorded and saved to our cloud server. The retention period for these clips depends on your specific Tapo Care subscription plan.

Why do you want to set a specific schedule for when the Tapo Care service works? After all, the process of recording and saving these detection clips requires no action on your part and does not consume your local storage space.

If you enable the camera's Privacy Mode, both its detection and recording functions will be deactivated. You can schedule the privacy mode on or off via the Smart Action > Automation feature. Below are the instructions.
