@Kevin_Z @TP-Link

It has been more than a year since the first beta release of the manual band selection for the MR600v1. But, so far there is no final build. Is there any plan to release a stable update for MR600v1?

I also have an MR100v1 device. Although it already has an update for manual band selection, it is not as convenient as the MR600v1 beta firmware. It fails to list the available bands frequently and takes too long to search. On the MR600v1, the selection process is straight forward. It shows a list of bands supported by the router and you can select the band without waiting. The selection process on MR100v1 is very painful as I change my location very frequently.

@Kevin_Z Any idea why this function can't apply to the perm firmware? The MR600 is an old product and we are still running BETA firmware for band select and unable to read SMS issue.

Current running: Firmware Version:1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 201204 Rel.66940n

Available update via WEB UI: 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n

Can confirm that .2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n has all the fixed and function of 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 201204 Rel.66940n?

We continue with Beta firmware on MR600 what a shame.

It seems TP Link is a home made company instead of a world big company.

It was my first and last equipment from this company, very bad support.

Indeed. It is such a shame that we continue with the beta firmware. I purchased many TP-Link devices before. MR600v1 could be my last device from TP-Link.sad

@Kevin_Z Hello, I tried this fw on a brand new MR200 v4. Band selection working flawless but I've lost the smart connect option and OneMesh. I also have an extender (RE300) so I need OneMesh option.

Please, could you provide us a firmware that support both OneMesh and band selection for MR200 v4?

Thanks
