  @THSkipper

Hi, I have sent you a message and did you get my message?

Now, there is also a beta firmware for Deco M4_v2 that supports connection preference.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @TP-Link You did it!

Thanks a lot, this was the update I was waiting for during all these years.
I have 34 Decos (most of them are M4's, a lot of XE75's and some X50 Outdoor's) running across 4 different locations. The first ones are now over 5 years old, but they all still run very smoothly; I recommend them to everyone. The regular updates are also a plus point. Thankfully, TP-Link takes the Deco project very seriously; this is the main reason for their success. Moreover, Deco doesn't let its users down and even asks them for feedback on improvements, which deserves a lot of respect. The only downside for me, as a technician, is that they are too limited for use as routers. I simply use them as access points, and in that regard, they are unparalleled. But the consistency and especially the stability are unmatched, and I haven't experienced anything like it with any other brand as I have with this TP-Link DECO system. I'm someone who won't quickly recommend one brand over another unless I have enough experience with it; however, I have experience with ASUS, Ubiquity, Netgear, etc., and I can confidently say to anyone who asks me that the Deco system is a dream in terms of ease of use. Highly recommended for the vast majority who want a stable, easy-to-set-up, and easy-to-manage network, and thanks for this update! It completes the whole experience!

LOL, I'm using Deco x20 and it still not have manual signal. Firmware version: 1.5.3 Build 20231227 rel 62097

My house is 4 floors with 1 deco in each floor, the main node is Deco X20 (4th floor) "X20 tầng 4" - M5 (3rd Floor) "M5 tầng 3" - X20 (2nd floor) "X20 tầng 2"- M5 (1st floor) "M5 tầng 1".

But the X20 (2nd floor) name "X20 tầng 2" alway find source signal from the main x20 (4th floor).

I really need the manual configuration for this on the Deco x20.

We really should be able to setup the topology of our home network. This could be an advanced feature where we could select a preferred topology.

  @TP-Link   @TP-Link When will this be fixed? I have one x80 (main unit) and two x20 decos. They are literally in a line and the one furthest away from the main unit is still trying to connect to it. It is really disappointing and if it isn't fixed I'm going to start a campaign contacting reviewers to give decos a lower review score if they don't allow the option to design your topology map (i.e. manually decide which decos connect to each other).
