Model: Tapo C110
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.1.2

When I look at the energy consumption data it is giving yesterday's data with today's date. So I started measuring yesterday 20th but the data is flagged with today's date 21st. And I can't see the bar chart for today.

Hey everyone,
We appreciate your feedback on the new Energy Monitoring 2.0

11/29/2022 Updated:

New firmware 1.1.6 for both Tapo P110 and P115 has been released.

If you encounter any abnormal energy monitor data issue with the new Energy Monitoring 2.0, such as the consumption data showing the value of yesterday or the value of the future time, it is recommended to update the device's firmware first.

Please also make sure the Tapo APP is updated as well. (Till 12/05/2022, latest Tapo APP version: Android 2.11.43, iOS 2.11.24.)

This topic will be closed later after the fix. For any other feedback,  please Start a New Thread in the community, you may share some information below to help solve the problem:

It actually appears worse than that...

The Energy Monitor - Day is totally incorrect, as advised it shows yesterday, but only after the firmware update.

The Energy Monitor - Month for October appears to show September values for whole month.

The Energy Monitor - Year appears to be the only correct values.

The Energy calendar for October appears the be the September values shown up to today's date.

I suspect that this may be a problem with data held prior to the new firmware, but as I am monitoring the monthly consumption for a particular item, I am reluctant to clear the data until the end of the month, as the 'yearly' figure appears to give the correct monthly breakdown.

I will also see tomorrow if the 'stored' September values continue to populate the October figures.

Hello,

I've the same problem with my TAPOs TP110, after updating the firmware they show incorrect date consumption as highlighted by @dmackenzie and others.

I've tried clearing the data but did not solve the issue, I will try to reset one TP to factory default and see if it'll get back to normal.

Hi all,

New user of the Tapo P110 plugs here, having installed 2 on Saturday.

A google search brought me to this thread, having experienced exactly the same issue issue described above.

I installed the P110 plugs on Saturday afternoon and enjoyed hour by hour updates on energy consumption up to midnight.  Then, no further updates were logged for the whole of Sunday.  I noticed however that the data logged on Saturday (17:00-24:00) was now being displayed as being for Sun 23 Oct.

As of midnight last night, the data refreshed and I got a full day of data, the pattern of which matches my usage on Sunday, but it's displayed as being for Mon 24 Oct!

Hello @Solla-topee,

did a factory reset on one of my TAPOs and I think, like @shberge said, is not working.

Today data is empty after 5.30 hours of activity.

Tomorrow, probably, I will see the today data on the chart :(
