While upgrading the product firmware, any interruptions, such as closing the app, camera power loss, or network fluctuations, can lead to upgrade errors. In some rare instances, these issues might even result in the camera becoming unusable (bricks).

This article outlines potential recovery methods for addressing these issues. If, regrettably, these suggestions prove ineffective in restoring your camera to normal functionality, you may need to utilize the product warranty.

  @Wayne-TP Panasonic format does not work. Please state required format (Fat32, ExFat or NTFS) so it can be done through windows.

  @Solla-topee

Will not work as well.

What tapo should do is warning not to update camera after warranty period. As their is no solution to fix it  if thing go wrong.

  @Wayne-TP

I updated the firmware of the Tapo C200 V3 camera, and it has stopped working. Neither by pressing the reset button, nor in any way can I make it work.

Only the red light flashes continuously.

Any solution?

  @666foad totally agree... post destructive upgrade the unit is now landfill - one way to try and get people to buy again...However what this has taught me is not buy tapo/kassa/tp-link products.

time to start looking for a replacement unless the company identifies a solution
