  @KBTOH

Hi,
Please help confirm the hardware version of the Tapo C200 first.
How to find the hardware version on a TP-Link device?

If the hardware version is V1, you can refer to Case 1 in the below link to troubleshoot. If the hardware version is V2, refer to Case 2 to troubleshoot.
What to do if my Tapo Camera gets bricked after a firmware update?

If the problem remains, it's suggested to contact the local support or retailer to check if your camera is under warranty.

Best Regards

Hi,
You can refer to the link below to reset the camera and check if the LED has any changes. If the status LED flashes green and red after resetting, you can try to reconfigure the camera.
How to reset my Tapo camera?

If not, refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot based on your camera's model number and hardware version.

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee The 4 led lights remain even after I restart and reset the camera.

@solla-topee Even if its out of warranty , if TP link have broken it though a poor software update, TP link should replace it

@Solla-topee You have marked this as a solution, it is not. Reading through other posts on here this appears to be something that TP link have created . Support have said that its not covered under warranty, yet the Camera worked fine until TP links software update bricked it - there are multiple reports of this. TP link broke the cameras, TP link should fix them

  @Solla-topee

Same problem here.

Latest update bricked the camera without rebooting or removing the power connection.

A lot of issues and TP-Link should acknowledge this even if the camera is quite old and the cost to replace it for the end user is not a problem.

  @KBTOH Same here, C200 bricked after latest update and won't reset. I've even tried the factory reset by SD card method and nothing.

 I have the same problem. Today I tried to upgrade my Tapo camera to the newest version, my network is fine, but it failed (i've got message "Update failed" in the app), after that camera stopped responding. I resterted it and now I have the same issue as everyone else in this thread - 4 IR leds are on and the camera is not responding. Upgrading firmware using SD card is also not working. I don't have warranty (I bought it more than 3 years ago). What can I co?
