Memory card formatting constantly
Have 2 different cameras and both are constantly asking to format the memory card at least twice a month. Any advice on fixes for this problem?
Hardware 3 and firmware 1.3.11 C200
Hardware 2 and firmware 1.3.9 on C100.

Hi,
If you are asked to format the SD card when it's full, please go to the Tapo app>camera's Device Settings>Storage & Recording>microSD Card page to check if the Loop Recording feature is enabled.
If the Loop Recording feature is enabled, what do you do when you are reminded to format SD card? Please let me know the model number, format, and capacity of the SD card.

Loop Recording is enabled in both cameras. I keep getting a message that the memory card needs to be formatted. Started about one notification a month , getting more frequent. Last week twice. I formatted the card on the app. Last attempt said card is faulty. I installed a new San Disk card in the C100 . The previous card was a Silicone Power brand 128mb card, high speed class 10. I don't know if the card was full because there is no way of telling from the app. The C200 is less frequent but still formats the card when requested. About once a month.

Hi,
1. On the Tapo app>camera's Device Settings>Storage & Recordings>microSD Card page, you can see the SD card capacity and usage conditions.
2. When you are reminded to format the SD card on the C200 next time, you can check if the SD card is full, and please let me know if there is something unusual happens and then the format SD card prompt appears.
3. If the Tapo C100 has used a different SD card, please check if the new SD card will work fine.
Since you see the information that the Silicone Power brand 128mb card is faulty, please help test the SD card with the tool H2testw, and send me a picture of the test result.

@Solla-topee I only have a Mac Laptop. Apparently That test program is only for windows. I tried looking up a program called F3 for mac but to complicated for me.

Hi,
The test result with the disk utility shows the SD card is not working well. Checking if the Tapo C100 will work fine with the new SD card is recommended.
