Tapo C500 Camera Getting Offline Frequently

Recently I bought a few home CCTV cameras including C200 and C500.
Before mounting them to desired places I have placed them in a common place side by side to test them for a few days.
The C500 cameras are getting offline frequently while C200 cameras are very stable. All are placed in the same place side by side.
C200 camera version is 3.0 and Firmware version is 1.3.14
Initially I thought that my home WiFi router might have some issue.
After monitoring for the last two weeks I realize that my home WiFi router has no issue and it is working perfectly fine for other devices.
Next I have disconnected all the other devices except the Tapo cameras from my home WiFi router. The issue still persists.
Everytime it gets offline I have to power cycle the Tapo C500 Cameras manually and within a minute they are getting online.
Initially those Tapo 500 cameras were getting offline after 15-16hrs, now they are getting offline within 5-6hrs since the last power cycle.
I tried to get support from Live-Chat-Support but this URL seems to be a chatbot and no use for me.
If anyone has faced this problem before let me know how you have fixed this.
I have update the Firmware in all the Tapo camera. 1.1.4
I have observed that the signal strength in all the camera shows -39 to -42 different times of the day.

Hi,
1. When the camera is online, please go to its Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and check the RSSI value.
2. How often does the issue occur?
3. If an SD card is inserted into the camera, please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log for further analysis.

Hi,
You can go to the camera's Device Settings > Reboot Camera page, enable the Auto Reboot feature, and check if it helps.

I think that the problem is with the UPNP.
I disabled this feature and the disconnections stopped...

Hi, I recently purchased this camera, along with a C200 that hasn't had any issues.
It worked 24/7 for about 7 days, and I never turned it off. After those 7 days, I put it in privacy mode, and when I turned it back on after about 7 hours, the camera went offline. I thought it was a defect, so I replaced it through Amazon, but the second camera of the same model also had this problem right away.
I also followed all the advice in the previous messages, set an automatic restart. Honestly, the auto-restart mode is just a patch on the problem. The firmware is updated to version 1.1.2 build 250326 rel. 61993n. How can I fix this problem? Tapo_c500_F20A.

Hi,
1. If you do not turn on the privacy mode on the Tapo C500, will it work all the time?
2. Please confirm if the camera is powered by the original power adapter that comes with the camera in the package. If not, try to power the camera with the original power adapter and check if it helps.

No, even though it's always on, the camera says to tap to update, and after several attempts, it goes offline.
Yes, the camera has the original power supply.

Hi,
1. Please refer to this post to troubleshoot the offline behavior and collect the relevant data.
2. When the camera is working, please go to its Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon, and check the RSSI value. If the RSSI is less than -70 dBm, move the camera closer to the router and check if it helps.
3. How do you restore the connection after the camera goes offline?
4. Where did you see the "tap to update" message? Is it on the camera's Live View page?
5. Please refer to the instructions below to collect the camera log for further analysis.

Q.1 ok
Q.2 Ok the values are in the range of -57 -59
Q.3 I need to power cycle the camera to get it back online.
Q.4 Yes it happens to me when the camera starts to go offline, but I still see the video if I try to refresh the screen by scrolling from top to bottom it shows tap to update
Q.5 ok
Further details: My camera goes offline after several hours of operation. For example, yesterday it was on from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
At 8:30 PM, it went offline. With an automatic reboot it was back online at 9:00 PM.
A suggestion would be to reduce the reboot time in the app settings to 2 minutes, rather than a 30-minute range, so as to have a precise reboot time, to ensure greater efficiency.
Another addition could be to have more timers and time slots to schedule the reboot.

Hi,
Thank you for providing the information regarding your offline phenomenon and the feedback. I'll log your feature requests and forward them to the relevant team for evaluation.
About the offline phenomenon, the camera's RSSI value is not strong. If you can move the camera and the router close to each other, please have a try.
What's the model number of your router? What's the LED status on the camera when it goes offline? If you have collected the camera log, you can upload the log to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
Best Regards
